Documentation and Registration

On the day of transfer to Vatulele a member of our Nadi office staff will arrange to meet clients (at a time and place to be confirmed at the time of booking). They will transport guests to the Registry office to complete the application for the Wedding License. A current passport, original birth certificate, and proof or annulment (if previously married) is required. NB the wedding must occur within 28 days of the application. Once the actual service has taken place, the island will forward your signed documents to the mainland for processing. Copies of the original Wedding Certificate will be mailed to guests approximately 4 weeks from this date. A processing fee is charged to ensure that the Wedding Certificate is issued within this period. There is a cost of this service – please ask our office staff for further details at the time of registration.

Wedding Date and Minium Stay

The wedding service is usually held towards the end of the couples stay, however the exact date of the wedding service cannot be guaranteed due to the availability of the Minister/ Celebrant and subject to weather conditions. Requests for particular dates, however, will be taken into accounts and met, where possible. The resort is unable to conduct a weekend wedding service.

Terms & Conditions

A Fijian wedding is based on English Law and therefore legally binding and recognised worldwide. The resort strictly limits the number of weddings performed, therefore, early bookings are recommended to avoid disappointment.

Rates are ‘Rack’ Rates.

All rates are quoted in FIJI Dollars, per room, per night, for single and double occupancy

Rates include breakfast, lunch, dinner and non alcoholic beverages

Rates are inclusive of tax and service charge.
