Our time at Vatulele is drawing to a close and I wish to thank you and Sal, Josaia, Gaby, Lavinia, and all the Vatulele family for making our time here so wonderful.

You have gone out of your way to treat us like royalty and the beauty of the island, the bures, the people and the food (and wine)  exceeded our expectations tenfold and truly, the beautiful staff here could not have done more.

Tonight we have a special dinner on the beach as we did for Pauls birthday earlier in the week, yet each day seems as special as the last.

The bures are beautiful, and 5 star quality,  the food the best I have had in Fiji, and cocktail hour a highlight too of our day.  Actually to wake up in such a beautiful place is a highlight in itself.

Our 9 days have gone incredibly quickly and while we have relaxed and snorkeled and done many activities, it now feels that we are leaving one family (being the people and island of Vatulele) and heading home to our own families.

I have been to Fiji many times however I have to say, this is the best time I have ever, and the standard well beyond had on all the places we have stayed in Fiji.

I will be very sorry to leave the beauty of the people, and the exceptional service.  As I write this, I can hear the 'farewell song' being sung to those leaving today and are not looking forward to our departure tomorrow.
