Before you Leave Home

• Travel to most tropical destinations means at certain times of year you will encounter mosquito’s – try taking vitamin B1 tablets one week before you arrive and during your stay.

• Reef Shoes or Reef walkers are very inexpensive footwear used for walking in the water on a reef or where there might be coral. Try a sport store or dive center.

• Pack your own mask for scuba diving or snorkeling, you know it fits your face.

• For dive course certification, do the theory at home and the practical at the resort, talk to your Padi dive center about a referral course.

• Be sure to pack your own appliance re chargers they are not always available at the resort.

• An Ipod USB cable

• This resort has a medical room, however bring you own medication for allergies, as it may not be available in Fiji.

• Obtain as much information about the country you are visiting before you travel and be sure you have adequate travel insurance.

• Fiji is a safe destination, the people very friendly! The best piece of advice to adhere to is “Patience is a Virtue”.

• If you have the space in your luggage, school stationary and used kids clothing is very much appreciated by the island staff and the locals.

• Check the batteries in all appliances. We only carry limited supplies and sometimes the desired brand are not available in Fiji.
